Information according to § 5 TMG:
Kleinunternehmer i.S.d. § 19 UStG
Data privacy is important. As a European citizen, I comply with the regulations of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The following information gives you a simple overview of what happens with your personal information when you visit this website. Personal information is any information that identifies you personally or as an individual visitor to our site, such as
- Your name or email address when you post a comment or use the contact form.
- Your IP address and information about the browser and operating system you are using are stored in the server’s log files.
Note on the controller
Responsible for the data processing on this website is: Wolfgang Schoch. Contact details can be found in the imprint at the top of this page. The easiest way to contact us is via the contact form.
Data collection on the website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
The operator of this website is me, Wolfgang Schoch. You can find my contact details above in the imprint. You can also send me a message directly via the contact form.
How is your data collected?
On the one hand, your personal data is collected by you by sharing it – for example, when you write a comment or send a message via the contact form.
Other types of data are automatically collected by the web server when you visit the website. This includes technical data such as your IP address, the time of access or the URL that you have requested.
How is this data used?
- Some of the data is collected to ensure that the website is flawless.
- Other data is used to generate anonymous statistics to determine which content is most popular. This will make the website even more interesting in the future. In addition, the operator (i.e. me) is a great friend of numbers and statistics. No external service providers such as Google Analytics are involved.
- The data you send via the contact form will be used to process your request.
Which rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive free information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request that this data be corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us at any time or write a message using the contact form if you have any further questions on the subject of data protection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us (to the contact form) is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
If you use the contact form, all your data from the form will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
We will delete your request as soon as it is no longer necessary to keep it (e.g. because we have already processed your request). We check the necessity once a year. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created, your e-mail address, the username you chose and, if applicable, a website URL you specified will be saved. Your email address will never be displayed publicly. Your IP address will also be temporarily stored.
All comments are approved manually. This is done to avoid spam and to prevent comments with offensive content.
No permanent storage of the IP address
All stored IP addresses are automatically deleted after seven days. If a comment is either activated or deleted before, the IP address will also be deleted. The temporary storage of the IP address only takes place in order to pass it on to the authorities in criminal relevant cases. Otherwise no evaluations or analyses are carried out with it.
Storage period of comments
The comments and the associated data (your user name and e-mail address) are stored in our database until the commented article has been completely deleted or the comments have to be deleted for legal reasons (e.g. offensive comments).
If you click on the option “Save my name, e-mail and website in this browser until I comment again” when commenting, this data will be stored with a cookie in your browser.
Social media and sharing buttons
The content on our pages can be shared on various social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. However, we do not use plugins on our pages that are provided by social networks. These tools automatically and without being asked transfer a large amount of user data to the operators of these social networks.
According to the data protection authorities and courts, such an automatic transfer of user data to the operators of social networks is illegal and can be warned. Therefore such a data transfer does not take place on our pages without the consent of the users.
Privacy-compliant “Shariff” Sharing Buttons
Instead of the original buttons of the social networks we use the plugin Shariff Wrapper. This means that direct contact between networks and users is only established when the user actively clicks on one of these buttons. If the user is registered with one of the social networks, an information window appears when using the social buttons, in which the user can edit the text for sharing before sending it.
As a visitor, you can surf our pages without fear of unauthorized disclosure of your data and post content that you like on social networks without complete surfing profiles being created by the network operators.
